Matthew Radich

matthew radich.jpgMatthew Radich is a partner at Inkstone. He is also the C.E.O. and Content Editor of Poligo.

Matthew Radich is from New Zealand. He got a degree in History, and then after a brief foray into the world of offices, went back to school. He graduated from the University of Auckland in 2003 with an honours degree in Economics. At the end of 2004, he left New Zealand for Tokyo to seek his fortune. After a year in Japan, he met Johan and they started to kick around ideas.

Matthew has a graduate degree in Economics with first class honours and a degree in Asian History & Japanese, both from The University of Auckland in New Zealand. He has professional experience in marketing, management and publicity in the hospitality, television and education industries. He has been teaching in Japan and New Zealand since 2002.

Matthew has been visiting Japan off and on since 1992 and has lived there for a total of six years so far. He is a competent Japanese speaker. He dabbled in Latin at high school for a couple of years (though he did not very much enjoy it at the time, he is glad he did). Now he is tackling Portuguese so that he can talk to his Brazilian in-laws.

Matthew is from a small town in New Zealand. In his spare time he plays guitar (terribly), does cryptic crosswords, plays video games and likes to cook. He took up surfing recently and totally sucks (but he might be getting ever so slightly better).
